Hello Friends!
My, I apologize for not keeping up with my writing lately. I have been incredibly motivated, working on my small start up business on Esty. Yes, I created my own online site on Etsy! Ever since I could remember I have envisioned myself starting a small business. My entrepreneurial spirit spoke to me! In college, I had my colors picked out, black and cream with a hint of color around to make it pop! I even envisioned my black and white awning above my store.
In my store, I wanted to sell the things that I am passionate about. Special items that I would call my own. These are things that I have scouted New York City in capturing the beauty and awe I feel while living here. I am also a teacher and love making my blankets for The Children's Defense fund.
This store has truly brought my passions into reality and now I get to live my dreams! I really think that Etsy is a great start for many entrepreneurs like myself who want to take low risk and open a business of their own. It's a great testing ground into where your ideas can spark into something else.
Who knows where this will take me. All I want to do is make beautiful atmospheres that make people feel good! I will be exploring all 5 New York City Boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island. I look for vintage and things that inspire me living everyday in New York City.
